One Health FIELD has worked closely with Co-Investigator Dr Suk-Jun Kim in the School of Language, Literature, Music and Visual Culture in order to produce emotive soundscapes detailing the culture, livelihoods, and memories of displaced Syrians for the SyrianFoodFutures and From the Field projects.

The University of Kent is a semi-collegiate public research university based in Kent, United Kingdom. One Health FIELD has worked closely with Co-Investigator Dr Thomas Parkinson in the Unit for Enhancement of Teaching and Learning on the SyrianFoodFutures and FIELD Network projects.


Development Workshop

Development Workshop is a Turkish not-for-profit cooperative established to support sustainable development in Turkey. Development Workshop brings to the Refugee Labour Under Lockdown project their longstanding research and field experience and know-how regarding seasonal local and migratory agricultural workers in Turkey and advising policy and humanitarian actors on how to implement evidence-driven solutions, as well as their contacts with Syrian agricultural workers, agricultural labour intermediaries and employers in the region. Erbil Polytechnic University was founded in 1996 and is a scientific governmental academy in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, which aims to educating technical qualified people in various specialties to meet the needs of society. Erbil Polytechnic University is a partner for the FIELD Network project, for which Dr Abdullah Omar Yassen, Assistant Professor in Public International Law and the Head of the Cultural Relations Unit in the International Office at Erbil Polytechnic University, will provide expertise on Syrian displacement and livelihoods in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Douzan Art and Culture is a Syrian non-profit institution that launched in Turkey in 2019, to enable Syrians to practice and shape their contemporary cultural identity, through preserving cultural memory, providing spaces for interaction and capacity building, strengthening solidarity and cooperation to build our cultural future between the heritage and the contemporary. Syrians around the globe brought together by memory, dreamt of free and creative expression, confront our diaspora, preserve our heritage, and contemporaries with our cultural production...
