Dr Saleem Faisal Alnabolsi

Dr. Saleem Alnabolsi holds a PhD in Finance, MA in Development Finance, and BA in Agricultural Sciences, with nearly 30 years of experience in rural finance and agricultural finance, research in Islamic finance and risk management, and in strategic planning and governance.
Alnabulsi has published about ten scientific papers in Finance, Microfinance, and three published books: Islamic Finance: Theory, Application and Risk Management, Microfinance Concepts and Practices, and Ethics of the Agricultural Engineering Profession. He has also prepared and participated in many studies in social finance, the Sustainable Development Goals, and strategic planning, in addition to opinion and newspaper articles on food security, rural development, and Syrian refugee issues. He is currently involved in multidisciplinary research with Syrian and UK academics at University of Edinburgh, focusing on refugees and food security.
