Selin Ayaeş graduated from Süleyman Demirel University with a degree Sociology in 2012 and completed a MA in Technology e-Government System and Services at Tallinn University in 2015. She then worked as a press consultant for a Member of Parliament. Later she worked in Ferrero Farming Values Programme specifically on child labor in hazelnut harvesting in Turkey for two years. Since 2018, Ms. Ayaeş had assignments in Development Workshop's various projects on child labour, seasonal migratory agricultural workers, nomadic and semi-nomadic communities, and Syrian seasonal migratory agricultural workers.
