Dr Stella Mazeri
Postdoctoral Epidemiologist, University of Edinburgh
Stella Mazeri is a veterinary surgeon with an MSc in Public Health Research and a PhD in Veterinary Epidemiology and Parasitology. She is currently working as a postdoctoral epidemiologist on a collaborative project with charity Mission Rabies, developing data-driven disease control strategies to accelerate rabies elimination in India and Sub-Saharan African. She teaches epidemiology, data analysis, evidence based veterinary medicine and R software on both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. She has extensive experience in designing, executing and analysing complex epidemiological studies in SSA, India and the UK. Her main research focus is zoonoses and veterinary public health.
