Dr Yasmin Abdalla

Project Administrator, University of Edinburgh

Dr Yasmin Abdalla qualified as a veterinarian from the Royal Vet College, in London, in 2016. After qualifying she practiced as a mixed animal vet in Alberta, Canada, focussing mostly on large animal practice. In that time she developed a passion for the role that animal health plays in food security, One Health and Antimicrobial Resistance.

This passion brought her to the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Security in Edinburgh, where she currently works as a project administrator. She also works as an administrator with the Scottish Covid-19 Research Consortium.
